Rafale to fly in 2 formations on Republic Day

Indian Air Force's Rafale fighter aircraft will participate in the Republic Day parade on January 26 in Delhi. 

Indian Air Force's Rafale fighter aircraft will participate in the Republic Day parade on January 26 in Delhi. 

Interacting with media persons in New Delhi, IAF PRO Wing Commander Indranil Nandi said there will be 42 aircraft participating this year's Republic Day. Out of which, 15 would be fighter jets, 5 transport aircraft, 17 helicopters and four Indian army helicopters."

The aircraft will participate in two blocks. First along with parade while second would be post parade.  Rafale will participate in Eklavya and Vertical Charlie formations. 

Dakota jet will be flown in Rudra formation, flanked with two Mi-17V5.
