COVID-19: Now ASHA workers have the last laugh as they make violators do sit ups

After being abused by the public and police while checking for COVID-19 suspects in Karnataka, now, ASHA workers have stared wielding lathis and punishing lockdown violators

Bengaluru: Don't take ASHA health workers lightly as they can punish you for messing with them. 

ASHA workers, who were earlier seen wielding lathis and monitoring the lockdown, are now punishing violators by making them do sit ups for breaking lockdown rules. 

Motorists and public, who were found roaming without valid reason, were made to do sit ups 25 times.

The incident happened at Maranabasari and Jakkali village of Karnataka's Gadag recently.
