Coronavirus outbreak: 7 Pakistani men trapped in India cross Attari border, to return home on foot

These men had come to visit Haridwar and couldn't return home to Pakistan since the borders have been sealed off in the wake of coronavirus outbreak

Amritsar: With few transport options available due to the 21-day coronavirus lockdown, thousands of people, mostly young male labourers and families, have resorted to commuting on foot to reach home. Seven Pakistanis, who had reached India on March 13, were trapped here as the borders were sealed off. The 7 men reached Attari border from Amritsar on foot and the Indian Army allowed them to cross over to Pakistan.
