Bengaluru to totally seal certain areas to blunt coronavirus spread?
As Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits has reported more number of positive cases of coronavirus, the Palike will completely seal off the wards. This is to ensure other wards do not witness the spread.
Bengaluru: With 5 cases of coronavirus, Padarayanpura ward in Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been chosen as the first one to be sealed. This would mean no one can from the ward will be allowed outside and none from other areas can enter here.
The idea of total contingent will be implemented with the help of police and health officials.
Only essential services will remain functional. The Palike hopes to seal other wards as well to blunt the virus spread.
