Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday, solicited suggestions for this month's "Mann ki Baat," which will take place on September 26. PM Modi took to Twitter to offer the URL to the MyGov page, writing, "I've received several intriguing suggestions for this month's #MannKiBaat, which will be held on the 26th. Continue to share your thoughts via the NaMo App, MyGov, or by leaving a voicemail at 1800-11-7800."

On August 29, Prime Minister Modi praised the work of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Bihar and Kanjirangal Panchayat in Tamil Nadu for their initiative towards rural waste management and self-reliance during the 80th episode of his monthly radio show 'Mann ki Baat'. Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Major Dhyan Chand and said: "Today is Major Dhyan Chand ji's birth anniversary, as we all know. In honour of this, our country commemorates it as National Sports Day. After 40 years, we finally won an Olympic medal in hockey this year. You may imagine Major Dhyan Chand's joy right now. Today's youngsters show a strong interest in sports. Major Dhyan Chand's biggest contribution is his love of sports."
