The reports say that Muccherla Ramulu and his wife Mangamma (60) had two daughters and a son. They have two houses in the locality and the couple recently registered one house in the name of their youngest daughter Sujatha who is physically handicapped.

Their daughter-in-law Jayasri was deeply angered after hearing this news. Both the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law were again in a fight on Sunday. The fight reached to such intensity that Jayasri took a mortar and started attacking Mangamma, and then she took a sharp weapon, hacked Mangamma’s two legs and fled the scene.

The neighbours hearing Mangamma’s screams informed the police who saw Mangamma lying in a pool of blood. Police have registered a case against Jayasri and are searching for her.
