Woman, lover kill husband to remove hindrance to affair

FollowIn a horrific incident, a man was killed by his wife with the help of her boyfriend and while they were secretly cremating the body, police were informed and the incident came to light.
 This incident took place a week ago at Pahadi Shareef. 35-year-old Mohammad Salim died mysteriously on 16th August. His wife Shaheen Begum (26) told everyone that he died in his sleep after having drunk too much. When the body was taken to Chandrayanagutta for cremation, the workers there informed the Pahadi Shareef police who sent it to for post mortem, after which it was proved that the man was murdered.
According to the details revealed by the police, Salim shifted to Pahadi Shareef two years before from Thadban region. His wife Shaheen Begum had a secret affair with a young man called Yousuf Khan. Shaheen wanted to end her husband’s life for being a hindrance to her affair.
Salim being a lorry driver came home on the 16th and caught his wife with Yousuf. When he fought with both of them, both Shaheen and Yousuf strangled Salim and banged his head against the wall. Shaheen told everyone that her husband died due to heavy drinking.
Based on the post mortem report, Pahadi Shaheen police booked a case of murder and arrested Shaheen and Yousuf who were then remanded to judicial custody.
