Telangana minister Etela is slighted by TRS government

Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender enjoyed fifth position in the hierarchy of TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) government after CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, his son K Taraka Ramarao, daughter Kavitha and nephew Harish Rao.

But recently the TRS cadre feel that his position is slowly slipping and he has been snubbed quite a few times to be considered as chance. In the recent GST Meet in New Delhi, KTR took the place of Etela and attended the conference.

When questioned about the slight, Etela covered up saying that it’s not an issue as anyone can attend. He also spoke to the media and asked them not to create a political issue.

On 10th August Telangana government organised the Pochempadu Project Revival Meet. Etela was responsible for  gathering people saying that this meet is more important than to attend GST meet. But in spite of all the responsibility and trouble that Etela underwent, he was not given an opportunity to speak in the meeting.

Etela camped at the venue to make the meeting a huge success but he was snubbed by not being able to address. Ministers Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy and Harish Rao spoke along with CM KCR but Etela was not given a chance.

The reasons for his not addressing the people are given as unrest among the people due to severe heat. Many were leaving the meeting and so CM was given the opportunity to speak.

Whatever may be the reason, political parties and supporters argue of too many coincidences. They raise doubts about TRS government’s attitude towards Etela.
