Saudi employer allegedly burnt Hyderabad man

FollowA 26-year-old Hyderabad man working in Riyadh has allegedly been set on fire by his employer over some dispute with the employer’s family member. Mr Md. Abdul Qader is a resident of Banjara Hills working in Riyadh from November 2015 under a driver visa.
According to reports, Qader paid ₹1 lakh to local agents Farhan and Sayeed to go to Saudi and work under Saleh Ali Ahmed, reported The News Minute.
Qader spoke to his brother, Md. Abdul Qayyum, last on March 28 and informed that he wanted to return but his employers are not allowing him. Also, that he has not been paid from past six months, the Deccan Chronicle quoted the brother as saying.
Then on March 31, he got a call from Riyadh informing him that Qader has been admitted to a hospital with more than 75 percent burns. Qayyum was also informed that Qader had some dispute with a family member of his employers.
The family then approached Amjed Ullah Khan of Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) who informed the Ministry of External Affairs, and it has also been brought to the notice of KT Rama Rao, Minister for Information Technology, Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Government of Telangana.
