Rana Daggubatti to act as an army officer in a periodical movie

One of the leading actors of the Telugu film industry who won national acclaim for the portrayal of his character Ballala Deva in the epic saga Bahubali, Rana Daggubatti is all set to woo the Tamil and Telugu audience with his bilingual periodic film titled 1945 in Telugu and Madai Thiranthu in Tamil.

This would be his fourth film of this year as Rana is planning its release in December. His Ghazi attack along with the massive film Bahubali after which his solo act Nene Raju Nene Mantri, all earned him name and fame.

Now he would be seen in a film based on pre-partition era where he dons the role of an army officer in the Indian National Army. The actor took to twitter to share the news as he wrote: “Going to recreate time once again, Now it’s the year 1945!! Filming for the second major schedule of my next #1945 begins today!!” with a picture of India map.

Rana also shared a picture of his preparation for the role which showed him getting a haircut and he wrote: “Team Vijay and Jaipal working on one of the looks in the film!! This is WIP!! #1945”.

The film completed its first schedule recently and is all set for its second schedule. The film has Regina and Lisha in the female lead while Nassar and Satyaraj play special roles. Music is given by Yuvan Sankar Raja under the direction of Satyasiva in K Productions.
