Motkupalli Narasimhulu to get governorship, hints Venkaiah Naidu
- Vice President-elect M Venkaiah Naidu hinted that Telangana TDP senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu would get his dream fulfilled soon.

The Telangana TDP delegation led by President L Ramana, ex-MP Nama Nageswara Rao, ex-MLA Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy and others called on Venkaiah on Wednesday at his Hyderabad residence to congratulate him on his election as Vice President. They congratulated him and offered him Yadagiri Gutta Prasadam.
In the course of the meeting when Venkaiah spotted Telangana TDP senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu, Venkaiah immediately addressed him as Governor-in-waiting. This address shocked Motkupalli and everyone around him.
Venkaiah Naidu is a veteran politician who always treads cautiously and never jumps the gun when it comes to official matters. This unexpected behaviour stunned everyone.
TDP is confident that Venkaiah Naidu’s 40 years of political history cannot be easily erased and he would work for the Telugu states especially the BJP-TDP alliance.
But his next office as vice president requires unbiased behaviour according to constitutional regulations. A great orator and gregarious leader like Venkaiah cannot continue these traits once he assumes office.
Speaking to the media at a hotel in Somajiguda, Hyderabad Venkaiah said that this was his last press meet before taking oath as Vice President. He is both jubilant and nostalgic about being elected as vice president at the same time to leave BJP.
