Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus with 6GB RAM, 4000mAh battery coming soon?

A new Xiaomi smartphone is on the way. Reports circulating online reveal that the company is all set to launch the Mi 6 Plus.
A teaser video posted on Weibo (via GizmoChina) reveals that the company is all set to host a new event on 11 July. Though there is no word on which device will be launched, it is highly speculated to be the Mi 6 Plus.
The device comes powered by Snapdragon 800 series chipset, but doesn't mention the exact one. But, it is believed that Xiaomi could most likely employ the Snapdragon 835. But, it does reveal that the device will house a 4000mAh battery. The Weibo account of the Xiaomi Store had also revealed that the device will include 6GB RAM, points out the report.
The specs sheet will also include support for USB Type-C port, 4G and NFC. Also expect an infrared blaster (IR). On the camera front, it can get a 22MP rear snapper with 4K support. Among the leaked features is the 3D glass body.
Now, the Mi 6 also comes with 6GB of RAM. In terms of specs, the Mi 6, gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 coupled with 6GB RAM. The device sports a 5.15-inch display with reduced glare, precise 0.15-nit adjustments.
It is covered by a curved glass body on all four sides, and features a stainless steel frame. On the camera front, it gets a dual setup with optical zoom - 12MP wide angle with 4-axis OIS stabilisation + 12MP telephoto. The splash resistant device comes with support for USB Type-C and under-glass front fingerprint sensor. And, the 3350mAh battery promises full day of charge. However, there were reports that the Mi 6 won't make its way into the Indian market.
