Vodafone brings another new plan offering 1GB of 4G or 3G data per day along with free calls even when on roaming. All of this at Rs 392 with 28 days of validity.

Dubbed ‘Home & Roam’ combo pack, it is available for prepaid customers, offering free local and roaming calls for 28 days. But, these free calls are said to be limited to Vodafone network.

"We found an existing need for these subscribers to have a pocket friendly pack that enables them to stay connected with their world even while they are travelling or out of station. Vodafone Delhi has designed the pack precisely to bridge that need," Vodafone India, Business Head for Delhi- NCR, Alok Verma said.
Recently, Vodafone had announced a new plan for its prepaid users. This plan brings to user 1GB data every day alongside unlimited local and national calls. This comes as a part of a special tariff recharge priced at Rs 344 with a validity of 28 days.
Meanwhile, BSNL has announced its new plan that brings unlimited voice calls for both local and STD across any network. And, the plan also includes unlimited data. There is limited on the data, which means you can access 1GB data per day and post that the speed will be reduced to 80kbps. This will be valid for 56 days.
Reliance Jio brings its Rs 153 data plan with unlimited data and free calls to JioPhone users. The JioPhone aims to bridge the gap between affordability and 4G data. This phone is priced at Rs 0, but you will have to cough up a fully refundable sum of Rs 1500. You can get back the money after three years.
JioPhone pre-bookings started on 24 August. Due to heavy demand the servers were down and the company had to halt the pre-bookings after taking nearly millions of pre-orders.
