Samsung Galaxy S8 will shoot 1000fps videos

One of the consistent rumour about the Samsung Galaxy S8 has been the 12MP sensor. However, a GSMArena report claims that the device will still match the Xperia XZ preimum for slo-mo videos with support for 1000fps videos.

The S8 will come with an 8MP front camera and one more smaller 3.7MP with RGB sensor for better iris recognition. Citing sources, the report adds the iris scanner will be improved with a tiny 3.7 MP camera.

The highly anticipated smartphone is slated for a launch on 29 March in New York city. It is further expected to hit stores by 15 April. Though the company has been tight lipped about its features, a lot has been already said and written about Samsung's device.

The company is expected to launch two variants of the device the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. One can expect a similar edge design that we saw in S7. Just like the previous models, the company will maintain the IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. An Exynos 9 is rumoured to come fitted into the Galalxy S8, while the Snapdragon 835 will be left for the Note 8. However, there is concrete report confirming this.

Here's everything we know about the Galaxy S8, so far.
