Meanwhile, the latest leak gives us a clearer look at the device. The image released by , is said to be the closest representing render of the upcoming device. Previously, we had seen the leak ( GSMArena) that revealed the OnePlus 5 may be launched on 15 June, but the official global launch is said to be on 20 June. And, two days later the company plans an event in Mumbai for the India launch of the device.

It was just recently that a OnePlus 5 teaser showed four colours - asking users what colour the next device should be. We saw the gun metal and matte black options earlier, and the leaks have suggested a silver one too. 

Recently, OnePlus had tweeted from the official handle asking users 'What 5hould the colour of your next phone be? Yes, by replacing 'S' with '5' the company has confirmed that the device in question is the OnePlus 5.

The tweet shows four colour options - black, a weird mix of green-pink-blue, red and a shade of gold. The second colour is what has caught everyone's attention as it’s a unique mix. OnePlus has clarified in the comments section that the colour is called 'Unicorn'. Another colour that has piqued interest in the colour red. OnePlus 5 dipped in red would be one plush device, we must add.

It was just recently that OnePlus founder Carl Pei tweeted, "Why did the headphone jack cross the road?" None of the leaks so far show the audio jack and it is being speculated that the OnePlus 5 could come without one.

Previously, TheVerge report claimed that the company has confirmed a launch this summer and the device has also hit headlines in the form of leaks and rumours. 

The device is speculated to come powered by the Snapdragon 835, and be made available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. The units may get 6GB and 8GB RAM options. Now, a from China's Weibo reveals that 128GB variant of the OnePlus 5 and confirms it will come 8GB of RAM and run Android Nougat, AndroidPure. 

Among the biggest highlights of the device is the dual camera setup. An India today had earlier shared an image with the rear side showing two cameras placed vertically. The image also showed an LED flash.

The antenna bands were missing and it was said that the final design may differ further. This also means the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the front side of the device.

On the camera front, it may include 23MP rear snapper and a 16MP front camera. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat. OnePlus is speculated to deploy a 5.5-inch quad-HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution. While there is no word on the pricing, it would be great to see the company maintain the price range of Rs 30,000.
