At the ongoing IFA 2017, LG has launched the V30. LG has ensured the device has enough to offer in order to combat the likes of the Galaxy Note 8 and upcoming iPhone 8.

The device comes with a 6-inch QHD+ (1440x2880 pixels) OLED FullVision display, taking the pixel density to 538ppi. The Daydream-capable device also gets HDR10 support. Under the hood, the V30 gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB of RAM.

The onboard storage in the LG V30 is 64GB and there is a V30+ variant with 128GB. But, in either case, you can expand it further up to 2TB via microSD card. On the connectivity front, users will get 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth v5.0 with BLE, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 support with compatibility for USB Type-C 3.1. It comes dipped in Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue, and Lavender Violet colour options.

The LG V30 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with one 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 71-degree wide-angle lens, and another as 13-megapixel sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/1.9. The cameras get Crystal Clear Lens. On the front, it gets a 5-megapixel shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.

LG has also added some flagship-worthy features such as 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by Bang & Olufsen, earphones manufactured by B&O Play with three digital filters, and Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) technology for high-resolution audio streaming.

Moreover, it will support "Ok, Google" voice activation and come with voice recognition that will work within apps, music playback and LG appliances that support voice commands. It is water as well as dust resistant with IP68 certification. The device also packs in a fingerprint scanner at the back. There's facial recognition too.

Finally, it is fuelled by a 3300mAh, with support for Quick Charge 3.0 as well as wireless charging. LG has not revealed the price, but it is said to go on sale in South Korea on September 21 followed by other markets.
