Facebook is coming up with a new dating app based on 'kindness'' theme: Details inside
Facebook is trying to develop a dating app that will not involve any DMs or swiping left-right. Here's what you should know about the app.
The experimental app will be manufactured by Facebook's NPE Team. The dating app will be named as 'Sparked'. The speciality of the app is 'kindness'.Â
So how it will work?Â
Well, it seems to have a similar technique like the Kik app where two-person talks anonymously for 15 mins, and if they liked each other, then they can connect giving in their public profiles. Only in here, these two people will get 4 minutes to talk via video chat, and if they wish, so a second date will be set up for 10 minutes. Then they can exchange their phone numbers and carry forward their conversation on any other platform.
The app promises no swiping right or left, no DMs or no creepy people. While signing up, one has to explain why they are a kind dater, and Sparked employees will review these. They also will be requested to fill whom they want to date, men or women or non-binary and whether they are okay with trans people. It will be a free app though how many times a person can go on dates is not mentioned.
At the moment, it's the beta test phase, but Facebook confirmed the app would launch soon.
