Tamil Nadu Stalin accuses AIADMK of towing BJPs line in the beef ban issue

DMK president and principal opposition leader, MK Stalin,  has demanded special attention in the Tamil Nadu Assembly on the beef ban issue, stating that the TN government is too meek to BJP.

In reply to that, Chief Minister E Palaniswami said, “We cannot comment on this as the case is still waiting for the final verdict. Our decisions will be entirely based on the request of the Tamil Nadu people.”

As the DMK members considered this as an unsatisfactory reply, they walked out, yet again.

Stalin, then, met the reporters outside the Assembly and said,” Pondicherry government has reacted against the decisions of Central Government on the beef ban, but why is the TN government still hesitant to respond? AIADMK is bowing down to BJP’s pressure. They are falling on the feet of BJP to insult our state. They are scared of the surprise raids from the Central government.”
