Earlier, Rajenthara Bhalaji has said that the private companies had been selling adulterated milk regarding which a public welfare petition was filed in the High Court.

Since no proper proof on the milk adulteration complaint was submitted, the manufacturers from the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation have insisted the minister tender his resignation.

It is being reported that former AIADMK minister Vaigai Chelvan, has also asked the minister to resign.

On hearing the statement of Vaigai Chelvan, Bhalaji said, “It is an act of mindless vandalism. Just for a wage of 500 rupees, Vaigai Chelvan would agree to speak in public meetings. He has been sticking posters on the streets. It was due to his good luck he became a minister, but even after that, he has not decided to incorporate good values in life. He is indulging in mud-slinging thinking that it is sandal paste but has ended up throwing it on himself.”

It is expected that Rajenthra Bhalaji would soon resign as he has been facing many criticisms from all sides.
