Tamil Nadu: Kollywood actor requests farm loan waiver from Chief Minister
- Actor Vishal, has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, E Palaniswami about the plight of Tamil Nadu’s farmers
- Vishal has requested the CM to waive the farm loans
- He has also met Central Government ministers to request for loan waivers for Tamil Nadu farmers

Earlier, Vishal, Prakash Raj and other Kollywood actors rendered their support to the farmers who were on protest in Delhi.
In this regard, he also met the ministers of Central Government. He has been continually rendering his support to the farmers.
Vishal has requested the CM to waive the farm loans. He said, “You have been fulfilling the dreams of Jayalalitha through your remarkable service. I request you to kindly waive the farm loans of our Tamil Nadu farmers.”
“Our neighboring states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab have already cancelled the farm loans. Hence I request you to cancel the farm loans in order to revive the lives of our farmers” he has further added in his letter.
