Senior minister Dindigul Srinivasan says other state CMs do not know about MGR draws flak

In an induction function, Dindigul C. Sreenivasan has told that the other state CMs do not know about MGR. This statement has created a wave of shock.

MGR Centenary has been planned to be celebrated till January 2018. The first of several functions is said to commence from Madurai on June 30 for which an induction function was held at 5.30am on June 22 in Madurai.

Twelve ministers including Sengottaiyan and R. B. Udhaya Kumar were present at the meeting.

C.Sreenivasan, the Minister of Forest was also a part of that gathering. When the reporters asked if the government would invite the other state CMs, he said that they would not know about MGR. On hearing this, the ministers were shocked.

On seeing their reaction, the Minister managed to say that the other state CMs would be invited for the function in Chennai.

People fondly address C.Sreenivasan as ‘Senior Minister’ and he often projects himself to be a prestigious person. Such a statement from him has dismayed the AIADMK party
 members.

When Modi spoke amidst Tamil people in Sri Lanka, he said, “A great icon of India, MGR was born in this soil establishing a lifelong connection.” But on the contrary, C.Sreenivaasan has told that the CMs of other states would not know MGR.

It reminds one of the comic dialogue of Goundamani “ Indiavukulayae avarai theriyathu” (Not even Indians know him).
