Rajinis political outfit Rajini Makkal Mandram in trouble

Even before Rajinikanth could formally launch his political outfit Rajini Makkal Mandram, there seems to be internal strife between the party members. So much so that the actor had to issue a stern warning to his fans.

107 functionaries from Rajini Makkal Mandram's Dindigul district unit threatened to quit over the suspension of the district secretary, SM Thamburaj.

“Thamburaj is an ardent fan of thalaivar for decades and he had worked hard for the fans club. It seems Rajinikanth has been misguided by some people in this issue. Hence, to express our unhappiness, we are going to resign”, one of the functionaries told News Today.

Thamburaj, a government staff took VRS to join Rajinikanth's pre-political movement and was made Secretary for Dindigul district on March 15, reported India Today.

However, he was suspended a few days ago without an explanation did not go down well with his supporters. Protesting against this move, the functionaries have threatened to quit their posts.

The Dindigul unit said that the secretary had been suspended since his actions had not gone down well with a section of Rajinikanth's fans.
