A team of three West Bengal police camped at Chennai to track absconding former Kolkata High Court judge Justice Karnan. He was tracked to a private resort in Coimbatore and was picked up from there. He suddenly started complaining of chest pain at the airport and was treated by doctors there.
Arrested Former judge CS Karnan was taken to the hospital on Wednesday evening as he complained of chest pain. He was arrested from Coimbatore by a team of West Bengal CID for contempt of court.

Karnan had been evading arrest since a month and was arrested 20th night by a team of West Bengal police camping in Chennai. He was arrested from a private resort at Malumichampatti, Coimbatore.
Karnan complained of sudden chest pain at the airport. He was checked by the doctors there and was treated for High blood pressure. He was then brought to the prison, where he complained that his chest pain had aggravated. He was then taken to the hospital for further check-up.
