R.Kamaraj of Food and Consumer Protection Department has said on Friday, June 16, 2017, that ‘Amma’ petrol bunk will be set up in places such as Chennai and Salem.
During the discussion on the development projects of the Department of Food and Consumer Protection, Minister R.Kamaraj disclosed this information.
There are 221 storehouse complexes remaining in 32 districts of Tamil Nadu. Out of the 221 complexes there are 10 complexes found to be in the prominent streets of Idappadi, Salem, Nandanam, Chennai, Irumbuthalai, Tanjore, Manaparai, Trichy, Sundaram Kottai, Thiruvarur, Vaniyambadi, Vellore, Kovilpathu, Nagapattinam, Kappalur, Madurai, Vanur, Villupuram, Krishnarayapuram, Karur.

The petrol bunks will be constructed in these ten designated complexes.
