Actress Jeevitha has said that she was no way related to the person involved in the invalid banknotes controversy.
On June 22, 2017, in Hyderabad, the police seized worth Rs 7 crore of invalid Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. It was seized from a house in Prashanthi Nagar in Jubilee Hills.
A suspect named Srinivasa Rao was arrested. It was told that he was related to former actress Jeevitha.
When asked about this, the former actress said, “My name is unnecessarily coming up. I am in no way related to the person involved in the invalid banknotes controversy. I don’t know him at all. He is not my relative.”
