IPL 2018, RRvsRCB: Royal Challengers Bangalore crash out in the battle of Royals

The Rajasthan Royals beat RCB by 30 runs with four balls to spare. It's all over for RCB, and RR have done it without Buttler and Stokes. Defending 164, none of the RCB batsmen, except for ABD, could get going.

Rajasthan beat Bangalore as they bowled them out for just 134 in 19.2 overs. Captain Virat Kohli fell quickly after scoring just 4, though fellow opener Parthiv Patel scored 33. AB de Villiers played well to score 53 runs from 35 balls. While others failed to get double digits, Southee and Siraj scored 14 each. Shreyas Gopal took 4 wickets for Rajasthan.

The Karnataka boys have derailed RCB's campaign here. Gowtham started it off by removing Kohli, and Gopal just took it forward with a dream spell. He picked up a four-wickets and RCB could never recover. Gowtham ended RCB's miseries by taking the final catch as well. RCB's chances of making it to the playoffs are bleak now, bleaker than ever before. From 75 for 1 to being out all-out for 134. RR's skipper Rahane came up with some smart moves but none smarter than his decision to bat first. The wicket took a lot of turn in the second innings

After electing to bat first, Rajasthan scored 164/5 in 20 over against Bangalore. It was opener Rahul Tripathi who played the best knock, scoring 80 runs in 58 balls and stayed not out till the end. Jofra Archer, Tripathi's fellow opener, failed to open his account, while captain Rahane scored 33. Klaasen scored 32. Umesh Yadav took 3 wickets for Bangalore.
