It was always a case of one of them clicking this season, but tonight it all went to plan. Kohli took a lot of pressure off the rest of the batsmen by playing freely. RCB had lost a couple of wickets, and the onus was on the famed duo.
Yet another positive batting display from DD goes in vain as the bowlers failed to restrict the RCB batting unit despite getting a couple of early wickets. With this defeat, whatever chances they had of making it to the top four at the end of the league stage would’ve evaporated.
