Bengaluru: Continuing their good run, India thrashed England by 198 runs here on Saturday to win the second game of the Triangular T20I Cricket Series for the Blind.

With this win India have taken their points tally to six. In the opening match, the hosts had beaten Sri Lanka by seven wickets.

England captain Ed Hossell won the toss and in conditions which looked more Birmingham than Bengaluru opted to bowl first. The Indian openers were on fire as they put on a century partnership. Pankaj Bhue brought up a magnificent hundred and Anil Ghargiya supported him well but fell just short of his hundred.

Chasing a huge target of 241, England were never in the hunt as the Indian bowlers had their strangle hold and bowled out the visitors for a paltry 42.

The international bilateral and triangular series of cricket matches organised by Cricket Association for the Blind in India and Samarthanam started from October 2. Now, the tri-series moves to Goa and the next match will be played on October 2 between England and Sri Lanka.
