Â
Here are 5 reasons why Manchester United climbed to the top of Deloitte’s Football Money League:
Â
## The jersey sales – This is something most of the clubs around Europe bank on when it comes to generating revenue. United’s jersey sale is clearly better than any other clubs in the world during this timeline.
Â
## The capacity of Old Trafford – Have you ever found Old Trafford with empty seats during a Manchester United game? A capacity of just a little more than 75,000 and it is always full. Ticket sale is incredible and that adds to the revenue.
Â
## The managers – The club has had some incredible managers in the past. From Matt Busby to Sir Alex Ferguson, the quality of football has only been on the rise and now there is Jose Mourinho. These larger-than-life figures have made United as one of the most attractive teams in the world of football.
Â
## Players – The kind of players United have had over the years, portrays the stature of the club. The players attract the crowd and they lead to the increase in shirt sales.
Â
## Sponsors – Aon, Chevrolet and Adidas have all been right behind the team for quite some time now. Now DHL have also joined the wagon. Manchester United can never run out of sponsors and thus they have been able to generate such kind of revenue.
