Young Mollywood actor Sreejith Ravi arrested for exhibitionism

FollowYoung Mollywood actor Sreejith Ravi was arrested for alleged exhibitionism and misbehavior towards school children. The police had registered a case against the actor on Thursday following complaints from school children at Palakkad.
As many as sixteen girl students of a school in Palakkad complained to their principal that a man who came in a Duster car misbehaved with them and made indecent exposure. He also took snaps of the girls in his mobile phone. The students noted down the number of the car and the police identified that it belonged to the actor. The actor was summoned to Ottappalam police station on Thursday evening.
Reports also say that the police initially hesitated from registering a case since the actor was quite well-known. Attempts were allegedly made to withdraw the complaint. But the police officials were compelled to register an FIR after the intervention of the Childline authorities.
Sreejith Ravi, son of veteran actor TG Ravi, confirmed that the number mentioned in the complaint was his but denied the allegations of exhibitionism. “The school children must have mistakenly noted down the vehicle number,” he said. The actor also stated that if he had committed any wrong, the children must have identified him and mentioned his name in the complaint.
