Why actress Shamna Kasim broke down during audio launch of Savarakkathi?

Actress Shamna Kasim shot to fame through a dance reality show, movies followed. But of late the actress has been on a career low after some of her movies crashed at the box office. 

Recently, the heroine bagged Savarakkathi, a movie directed by celebrated director Mysskin through which she is set to make a strong comeback.

 
During the audio launch of the movie the actress turned teary-eyed when she said that the industry had almost written her off when she got the role Savarakkathi. in the Tamil movie that was quite challenging. She said she had even contemplated quitting films. She couldn't control her emotions when she thanked Mysskin for giving her the role. 

"It was during the failure of my films I understood that talent alone does not decide the fate of an actress. Her movies must also do equally good at box office. It was then I met director Mysskin. They had tried to many top heroines for the role in  Savarakkathi and I was their last option... but somehow it worked out " said Shamna before a packed audience.
