Much before the third edition of Kochi Muziris Biennale (KMB), the biggest ensemble of contemporary art in South Asia, the videos celebrating the cultural extravaganza have won the hearts of art lovers.
The KMB will be officially open to the public on Monday. The show, hosted in the heritage town of Fort Kochi, will be on until 29 March 2017. This edition is titled ‘Forming in the Pupil of an Eye’. Sudarshan Shetty, One of the country’s most acclaimed contemporary artist, is curating the Biennale.
The videos heralding the Biennale celebrate Fort Kochi and its charming surroundings and streets that still smell the past. The whole heritage town will turn into a big canvas as artists from across the globe display their works in the street, art galleries, in the beach and literally in every nook and corner.
For 108 days since 12 December, Kochi will be known as Biennale City.
