"Yes, my decisions are 'kadak' (hard). When I was young, the poor always asked me to make kadak chai (strong tea)," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said a few days back, defending demonetization overnight.

Oorali, a music band from Kerala, has come up with a 'troll song' against demonetization and 'Kadak Chai' has come handy for the singer. 'Strong tea' becomes a recurring symbol in the nuanced song penned by singer Martin. And each time, the strong chai stirs up in new meanings and turns out to be a sharp critique of demonetization.

Oorali, a unique music band, based in Thrissur, begins its new song with an introduction of the 'strong tea brewed by the king!' The Malayalam song, which has already created a buzz in the social media, winds up with a toungue in the cheek statement: "we have no way but to sing in praise of those in power."
