Police raided the house of Agni Sridhar, and arrested Bacchan. It is alleged that Rohit the accused had taken shelter in Sridhar's house. Police have found guns without license in Sridhar's house.
Kumaraswamy Layout Police raided the house of Agni Sridhar, journalist, activist and ex-don, in the early morning on Tuesday, February 7.

It was alleged that Agni Sridhar, had given shelter to Rohit, the main accused, who had made threatening calls to Kadabagere Srinivas just two days before the shootout. Police obtained search warrant from the court and had raided.
More than 100 police were present during the raid, but the police could not find Rohit in Agni Sridhar's house. However they have found some illegal weapons and some guns, which did not have license and have seized them. Besides, the police have arrested Syed Aman Bacchan, a close acquaintance of Agni Sridhar, for further interrogation.
On February 6, the police had arrested Satish to probe the case of shootout. In the interrogation Satish had revealed that Bacchan has given shelter to Rohit.
Bacchan was involved in land mafia and Rohit, his associate had made threatening calls to Kadabagere Srinivas with regard to some real estate transaction.
Sources say that Agni Sridhar was present in the house when the raid took place. The raid was headed by Hemanth Nimbalkar, ACP (Crime).
