Uber held discussions with officials on the importance of voting and encouraging people to cast their vote and would collaborate with EC's Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation programme, Uber India said in a statement.

 

We are thrilled to partner with the Election Commission and support the #TN100percent initiative, Uber India, General Manager, South and West, Bhavik Rathod said.

 

Drivers of Uber cabs would be educating people on the importance of voting and encourage riders to vote on May 16.
