More than 500 people showered their blessings. With their families' grace, their struggle and prayers, their dreams came true. Both the families were there for the function.
Vijayakumar and Usha Vijayakumar are Surya's birth parents. Muhammad Kabir and Shanafa are Ishan's parents.
Surya's godmother is a famous makeup artist Ranju Ranji. And Surya herself is a television artist. Surya became popular through Vodafone Comedy Stars show in Asianet channel. She has acted in Malayalam movies like Ardhanari, Parisile Payyans. Sreekutty from the trans family took care of Ishan. The exciting part here is both the godmothers are transgenders.
Both of them have undergone transplantation surgery. And both have Voters ID cards, which display that Surya is woman and Ishan is a man. There were no legal problems in their marriage.
