All sorts of things are happening in Tamil Nadu politics since Tuesday night. O Paneerselvam revealed that he was forced to resign from the post of Chief Minister. OPS revolted against Sasikala subsequently. In this political turmoil, Deepa Jayakumar has claimed that the doctor’s press meet while Jayalalithaa was breathing her last at the Apollo Hospital, was “stage-managed.”
Jayakumar, who also happens to be the niece of the deceased Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu – Jayalalithaa, stated that she was never interested in her aunt’s property and all she cared was about the people of the state and she will continue to do so. Even if she is threatened she will not be cowed.
"I will not be cowed down by threats. A lot of people are unhappy about AIADMK. I will not ditch people who come to me. I will continue to be in public life till the end," Jayakumar was quoted as saying by IANS.
