The authorities at the Parappana Agrahara jail in Bengaluru refused to grant VVIP or VIP status to Sasikala. She was not even allowed the provision to have home-cooked food. This is the list of things she will be given inside the prison.

 

Just like any other prisoner, Sasikala will be given 250 grams of breakfast; 350 grams each of lunch and dinner which includes rice, sambar and chapati or ragi balls, the prisoners are allowed to have 200 ml buttermilk per day. Non-vegetarians get meat-based food once a week.

However, as Sasikala, her nephew Sudhakaran and sister-in-law Ilavarasi reached the court in the evening, they were given food from outside. But sources said that Sasikala did not eat any food last night.

Now Sasikala’s day will start with morning walk between 5.30 am to 7 am and 4.30 pm and 6.30 pm. She can read the newspapers in the library only.

 

Currently, Sasikala and Ilavarasi have been given four white sarees and blouses each, two pairs of white pant, shirt and white hat to Sudhakaran. All three have been given a plate each, mug. They have a separate bedspread and white bed sheets. The prisoners are given one soap for bath and one soap for washing clothes, once in 15 days.
