The biggest reality show in Malayalam television, Bigg Boss, has hit the small screen. The superstar Mohanlal is hosting the show. So, the number of viewers are high for the reality show.

 The show is held in Mumbai film city in the Bigg Boss bungalow. The set has 60 cameras around the house and is programmed from Monday to Friday 9.30pmand Saturday - Sunday 9pm.

One of the major rules of the reality show is that the contestants can speak only in Malayalam. 

Speaking about the house, the bungalow has a gym area, a big kitchen where the contestants have to cook for themselves, there are only two bathrooms for 16 people, a huge dining with only ten chairs is quite a wonder to the show and a living for everyone to discuss and watch TV.   

The contestants are Swetha Menon, an actress in the Mollywood industry, Deepan Murali a serial actor, daughter of Jagathy Sree Kumar Sreelekshmi, Sreenish Aravindan a serial actor, Hima Sankar, an actress and a social worker, Aristo Suresh, actor, Diya Sanna, a social activist, Aditi Rao, Malayalam and Kannada actress, Bashir Bash,i a short film actor, Manoj Varma, cricketer and Kannada actor, PearleyManney, actress and anchor, David John, actor and model, Tharikida Sabu, controversial person in social media, Archana Susheelan, serial actress,  and Ranjini Haridas anchor and activist.
