Trolls to tees: ‘Chittappan Da’ tee shirts mock Kerala Minister's nepotism

FollowAfter hilarious trolls, Kerala Minister EP Jayarajan’s love for his nephew has inspired an online tee shirt seller. 'Chittappan Da,' tee shirts are now making a buzz online, taking the trolls on the minister to a new funny plane.

‘Chittappan (uncle) Da’, a parody on ‘Kabali Da,’ the famous catchline of the recent Rajinikanth hit ‘Kabali’, was one of the most popular refrain among trollers on Jayarajan. CottonKappy, an online shopping site from Kerala, was quick to grab the opportunity and to display Chittappan Da tees in four colours.
CPM leader Jayarajan, handling Industries and Sports portfolios in Left government in Kerala, found himself in a flood of trolls after the appoint of his nephew as the MD of the public sector Kerala State Industrial Enterprises (KSIE). Trollers had a field day after the minister defended the posting and chided the media for questioning it.
