Suspended DMK MLAs staged a protest outside the Tamil Nadu assembly today. The MLAs are protesting against the suspension orders.

80 MLAs were suspended yesterday by the assembly Speaker P Dhanapal.
The security personnel did not allow the DMK lawmakers inside the premises of the assembly. There was heavy security personnel presence in the assembly.
"We have only been suspended, but we are MLAs. We don't know why they are not letting us inside," former school education minister and DMK MLA Thangam Thennarasu has been quoted by Times of India.
According to a report security personnel has been instructed to not allow the protesting MLAs inside the building.
However, the assembly functioned normally today. In today’s session, DMK MLAs who were not suspended participated in the house proceedings.
Yesterday the assembly witnessed boisterous scenes as DMK MLAs were evicted from the assembly and then suspended for disrupting the proceedings of the house.
