Sasikala’s cell is in women’s barrack
- Police officers of Parappana Agrahara are making every arrangement

FollowPolice officers of Parappana Agrahara Prison have made every arrangement in Woman’s barrack to detain VK Sasikala, General Secretary of AIADMK, who is prosecuted by the Supreme Court under disproportionate assets case.
Police sources confirmed that 10 armed woman police personnel are deputed 24/7 in the prison for security.
Jayalalithaa, Sasikala and two others were jailed in 2014 under the same disproportionate assets case. The police sources say that this time also the same barracks are allotted to Sasikala and other two. In 2014 Jayalalithaa was kept in the hospital building of woman’s barrack due to her illness.
The police officers of the prison held a high level meeting as soon as the Supreme Court announced its judgement on Sasikala’s case. In the meeting they discussed about security measures to be taken to Sasikala and others.
Sasikala and Ilavarasi will be kept together in same cell, while Sudhakaran will be kept in VVIP cell in men’s barrack.
AIADMK workers may gather in thousands of numbers as Sasikala arrives at Parappana Agrahara Jail. During the meeting the police discussed on precautionary measures to be taken when the mob gathers. The police have already deputed four KSRP (Karnataka State Reserve Police) troop at the spot.
