Russian mafia runs the drug scene in Bengaluru

The police investigations have found Indiranagar,  MG Road, Byappanahalli Metro and Gopalan Mall in CV Raman Nagar were some of the key drop points being used by the couriers.

"One gram of cocaine cost over Rs 5,000 and LSD  cost Rs 3,000. These drugs are mainly sold to high-class clients such as medical professionals, engineering college students, IT professionals and regular party goers," said Siddalingappa, Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Crime Branch.

The cocaine comes is powder format and LSD you get it on thin sheet, known as tabs.

CCB police which has reported 31 cases in last 20 months say that they have seen pub goers and few addicts snorting cocaine,  and people who are addicted to LSD placing the drug on their tongue. People addicted to ecstasy that comes as a tablet, chew it.

"A few days back a youngster died after he overdosed on cocaine. He is said to have made a deadly cocktail by consuming it along with alcohol," said a senior police from CCB.
