Stuffed with love, Jamal's tiny samosas are big in Doha

Ramzan Samosas in Doha

Come Ramzan, the shop run by Jamal on a busy street in Doha become a busy spot as samosa lovers throng the place for the spicy snack that is high in demand. From cheese samosas to vegetable variant, he sells around 35,000 samosas of six varieties in the evening.

"Every Ramzan season the samosas sell like hot cakes here. Hundreds queue up to buy them," says Jamal a native of Vadanappally in Thrissur who is into this business for past 38 years.  When asked about the secret of his recipe, Jamal says he does not use the machine to make samosas and insist on making every piece with hands.

As the business is growing in leaps and bounds, Jamal had initiated his two sons into the samosa venture.
