Rain likely to play a spoilsport on poll-Day

 The summer showers may have come as a huge relief for Kerala, but the Indian Meteorological Department's (IMD) forecast of rain in the next 48 hours have cast a cloud over the polling  on Monday. 

The IMD has hinted the possibility of a stormy and rainy weather that is likely to hinder the voter turn out. 
 

Political parties have directed their local party activists to facilitate necessary arrangements for voters in case of heavy rain. 

On Saturday, the final day of campaign, rain had completely dampened the campaign euphoria or the 'Kottikalasham'.
