Ever since the dramatic arrest of Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the abduction of the Malayalam actress, the media persons were scrambling to get his response. 

When the police took him and his aide Vijeesh to jail after presenting him before the Magistrate in Aluva on Friday afternoon, media persons grabbed the opportunity to push some questions. 

"I will come back, will face you," Suni told media persons, looking very confident. 'No,' he said calmly, when asked whether he felt he was trapped in the case by someone else. Earlier, the magistrate remanded the two accused for 14 days.

Suni and his aide Vijeesh were arrested from a courtroom in Ernakulam amidst high drama on Thursday afternoon. The unusual arrest had evoked mixed response among legal circles.

There were rumours that Suni was hired by somebody for abducting the actress. Dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi's revelation regarding a 'quotation by a woman' had triggered lot of speculations. 'Pulsar Suni told his victim that it was a quotation by a woman,' Bhagyalakshmi said. "But I believe that it was a red herring."

Suni reportedly told the police that he planned the abduction of the actress on his own to extort money through blackmailing. He also dismissed role of any other person in hatching the plan. But the police has not taken the confession at face value.
