'Pulimurugan' makes history; enters 100 crore club

Exactly after a month its release, Mohanlal starred 'Pulimurugan' entered the 100 crore-club on Monday, making it the first Malayalam film to bag the rare achievement.

Actor Mohanlal, who is currently shooting in Rajasthan, shared his excitement and thanked the audience and the entire crew of the film through a Facebook post.

According to reports the movie amassed 65 crores in Kerala and 15 Â crores in just three days after it was released in the United Arab Emirates. The film has been a remarkable success in the United States and Europe as well.Â

The Mohanlal-starrer has surpassed the collection of superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' and the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's 'Sultan' in UAE and the countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
