Prestige Group roped to clean up Ulsoor Lake

BBMP has entered into a three-year agreement with Prestige group and this move of BBMP is expected to bring some changes in the over-all administration of the Ulsoor Lake.

Developmental works like de-silting, removal and disposal of garbage and waste material found in heaps, maintenance of toilets, upgrading of existing walking path as and other such works will be carried out by the Prestige Group in coordination with BBMP authorities.

In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding has been entered into by BBMP Corporator, Mamata Saravana and Zayd Noaman, director of Prestige Estate Projects Ltd., on Thursday, in a program at Ulsoor lake precincts.

Back in 2015, the BBMP Commissioner had sought 'Corporate initiatives' for lake development and as such, the Prestige Entity has come forward for th eproject. "In the next three year’s time, the lake and its environs will become a visual treat," said Zayd Noaman, director of Prestige Estate Projects Ltd.

Mamata Saravana, BBMP councilor said that this was welcome move and promised full cooperation in this regard.
