Phone calls of Kerala CM 27 CPM leaders are being tapped

In a serious allegation, Congress MLA Anil Akkara on Monday stated in Kerala Assembly that the phone calls of political leaders including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan are being tapped.  As many as 27 CPM leaders are victims of telephone tapping, he said.

Telephone conversations of political leaders are widely being tapped in the state with the help of police. "My phone was tapped and similarly a senior legislator from Kottayam also had the same experience," Anil Akkara said. Even top CPM leaders are not spared. Phone calls of 27 CPM leaders, including CM Pinarayi Vijayan, are being tapped, he added.  "Complaints to BSNL went in vain," the MLA said.
