Edappadi Palanisamy to be Tamil Nadu Chief Minister by 4 PM

  • Sasikala’s proxy Edappadi Palanisamy claims support of 124 MLAs and is most likely to be sworn in as CM today
  • TTV Dinakaran will be the advisor to Palanisamy
  • Palanisamy will have to prove majority within 15 days
Palanisami to be sworn in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister by 4 pm

 

Both Panneerselvam and Palanisamy had met Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao had kept his decision pending till today morning. As Palanisamy claims support of 124 MLAs, he will be sworn in. Currently, Palanisamy is at Raj Bhavan in a meeting with the Governor.

 

However, Panneerselvam’s camp having 10 MLAs is demanding a floor test, but the Governor has not agreed to his demands.

TTV Dinakaran, nephew of Sasikala, will be the advisor to Palanisamy. At last, Sasikala will rule even from the jail, through Dinakaran. Thus, in an indirect way, Mannargudi family has returned to the power centre, which was kept away by former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

Meanwhile, Sasikala supporter Thambidurai is holding another meeting with the MLAs at Golden Bay Resort.
